Our core team has over 75 years of combined diverse international business experience, including several decades in the design and creative space and numerous extensive projects creating and editing video.  Vidaken Media and Vidaken Video Agency are under the umbrella of the Vidaken family of companies which was incorporated in 2019.

Do you travel?

Yes, every opportunity we get…..but you won’t need us to! With the proliferation of technology and other resources available today, we are able to create, edit and deliver custom videos anywhere in the world, right from our own studios. Where are you located?

Our core Team works remotely and spans the United States from the East Coast to the West Coast, and we also have highly experienced collaborators working in several international locations around the world.

What creative services do you offer?

We offer four creative services: video production, videography, animation, and graphic design. Oftentimes, our clients need multiple creative assets for a given project – such as a 60 second video, custom photos, and banner ads for a new product – so we can provide all of that under one roof. We manage the entire process and our goal is to make every step as organized and streamlined as possible.

Can you explain a win for a previous client and how you achieved that?

This can sometimes catch production companies off guard so be clear why you are asking. Sometimes, especially when it comes to a direct revenue goal, video production companies cannot release that type of information. They can however say general assumptions.

“We grew sales 200% directly tracked to our video efforts”
“Our training videos reduced worker injuries and claims by 50%”
“Website hits increased to 2000 from 1000 during the months the video was active”

A video production agency needs to show the ability to prove revenue. It’s their responsibility to help marketing as much as possible in tracking ROI from their efforts when it makes sense to do so.

Caution:
It’s easy to list vanity metric wins, “this video got over 100k views.” That’s great if the result was awareness, but how many leads did it create? If the results stated are very vague, ask deeper qualifying questions. Sometimes the brand/agency didn’t give that information to the vendor, that’s ok too but be sure to clarify it. Don’t be a sucker by looking past ROI, you’re paying for this and need to see return!

How do I start a new project?

There are several ways to start a project – you can click the “Start Now” button in the menu and fill out the info, or you can call, text, chat or email us with details about your project by visiting our Contact Page. Once we get your project details, one of our executive producers will reach out to you immediately to setup a quick call. If you’ve already worked with us, simply send an email to your executive producer and he or she will get back to you right away.

Do I need to be involved in the process?

You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you’d like throughout the process. Many of our clients like us to take as much work off of their plate as possible, and we’re happy to do so. From concepts to scripts to planning and logistics to final deliverables and everything in between, we can handle everything internally without direction. However, we do encourage your input and operate in a very collaborative way which allows you to provide feedback during each step of the process if you’d like. Or, simply give us instructions at the beginning of the project and sit back and wait until the deliverables are ready for your approval.

Will you help us develop content for our commercial?

Yes. We offer directional services and will assist in storyboarding, scripting, and any pre-production needs you have. Content development is a strong suite of ours and we were born to create kick-ass video content.

What is the best method to communicate the vision for the video we need?

We often collaborate with internal creative departments who are less familiar with the nuances of employer branded content. We enjoy sharing our creative insights in order to uncover an authentic story, and often serve as a sounding board for ideas that teams have been waiting to share.

How will my project be managed?

The reason to ask this question is to ensure you hire a company competent enough to deliver the work as per the deadline. You should expect the company to explain to you about their organization, work preparation, and communications. At the end of the session, you should be sure the company will deliver quality work and keep time.

Do you understand our vision?

This question is critical, it’s one of the most important qualifying questions you can ask. An effective video partner will need to be immersed in your brand’s vision and understand what messaging you need to convey to your consumers.

Which strategy do you market yourself?

The same strategy the video producer uses to market themselves is likely the same; they might be attempted to use on your business. The purpose of asking this question is to try to find out if the marketing plan the company will undertake will be useful for you or not.

There is no definite answer to this question, but if the company cannot present itself, do not expect them to have information about proper marketing.

What difference will your company bring to my videos?

It is always wise to hire a company that can produce a corporate video which will help your business stand unique and shine. Find out if the company is just curious about making money or delivering quality. The reason you ask this question is to find out if the company has interacted with your previous video (if any) and understand where improvements may be needed.

What is the action plan once we commit to the project?

How will they ensure the resultant video communicates your business message?

You ask this question to find out if the company can simulate your business idea into a video. Also, you will try to find out if the company is competitive enough in extracting and selling a business idea in a unique manner.

What filming and editing tools will they be using?

Knowing the equipment helps for archiving and fixes later. Agencies and brands can then plan for editing if it may be needed in the future. Using a common editing program and codec allows for reduction of costs, as help can be more easily found.

We use a combination of industry-standard equipment and software– predominantly the Adobe Creative Suite of products. If you have strong needs regarding any of these resources, we are happy to plan that into your experience.

Caution:
Cinema cameras use very robust codec formats, retaining large amounts of information. This is incredible from a quality standpoint but will cause a huge bottle neck if not planned for. It’s not uncommon for a simple production to yield 300-600GB of files. These files also are processor intensive, and will lock up most standard issue computers.

Please feel free to ask us about our compression techniques to make sure our methods of providing a manageable-size file are compatible with your purposes. We don’t sacrifice quality for file size.

What are the steps?
Review the script – Vidaken Media delivers the first draft of the script, or overall concept (in lieu of a hard script) for you to review and indicate any changes.

Review the video – Shortly after the Vidaken Media team finishes production, we will deliver the first draft of the video for you to review so we can address any change requests you may have.

What are the steps involved with each project?

The Vidaken Media System is designed to save clients as much time as possible while delivering the most successful video content to meet our client’s marketing goals. Each project only requires three steps of our clients:

  1. 20-Minute Mastermind – a short phone call where we gather all creative and marketing information needed to write the perfect script.
  2. Review the script – Vidaken Media delivers the first draft of the script for you to review and indicate any changes.
  3. Review the video – Shortly after the VideoFresh team finishes production, we will deliver the first draft of the video for you to review so we can address any change requests you may have.

What is Vidaken Video’s Refund Policy?

All prospective VIDAKEN MEDIA Affiliates, Clients, and Customers are required to read and accept the VIDAKEN MEDIA Return and Refund Policy prior to continuing on to the Affiliate Enrollment Page and/or Client or Customer Purchase Page.

If you do not accept the VIDAKEN MEDIA Return and Refund Policy, you will not be able to continue to the Enrollment Page or Purchase Page, and you will not be allowed to become an Affiliate, Client or Customer.

  • VIDAKEN MEDIA’s core Products and Services are digital in nature, which allows us to deliver them online in real time with instant access to all content immediately upon purchase and payment. In other words, Affiliates, Clients, and Customers have complete and unrestricted access to Products and Services immediately upon purchase.
  • Based on this, VIDAKEN MEDIA has a strict No Return and No Refund Policy, except where prohibited by law, and in no case greater than 3 Days which begins on the date of purchase. We will not consider or accept Refund or Return requests, except as provided by law, and in no case past the 3rd day after purchase of VIDAKEN MEDIA Products and Services.
  • Should any Affiliate, Client, or Customer attempt a chargeback or other Return or Refund procedure of any Vidaken MEDIA product or service subject to this Policy, barring extraordinary circumstances, the Company will base denial of the Return and Refund on your acceptance of this Policy prior to your enrollment or purchase of the product or service.
